Notable Events
• Ukrainian Carol Singing (in collaboration with UoM Ukrainian Society) 07.12.2024
We joined forces with everyone willing to join us in sharing our Ukrainian Christmas traditions. One of these traditions is singing Christmas carols while dressed in traditional festive clothing. With prepared songs, we performed a flash mob in several different locations around Manchester, concluding with a performance at Forsyth Music Shop. There, we were invited to perform again and were featured in the shop’s festive stories on social media.
• Walk for Ukraine - 22.02.2025
Gathering as a community, we set out to meet with other Ukrainians and all those who care, to support Ukrainians fighting for the right to be free. We sang Ukrainian songs, took part in interactive games, and marched through Manchester, reminding the world that we care deeply about the fate of Ukrainians today.
• Echoes of Ukraine - 31.03.2025
A concert of Ukrainian music presented by students of RNCM and UoM, with the main aim of introducing the audience to the rich and diverse works of Ukrainian composers.
In addition to these significant events, our community has also organized—and continues to organize—activities such as interactive socials with games and entertainments, board games nights, movie nights, and hiking trips to the picturesque landscapes of the Peak District.
